will work, but they will have higher capacity (793K vs. 720K) if you format
them again on the MPC60.
• The 3.5-inch disks used in the MPC60 should be double-sided, double-
density disks (2DD).
• NEVER REMOVE A DISK FROM THE DISK DRIVE WHILE THE
LIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE DISK DRIVE IS ON!
To access the disk functions, press the DISK key. The following screen
will appear:

Select option:
The above screen displays a list of disk options. To select one, type the
number of the desired option. Each of the options is described in detail in
the following sections. (The 9th option, Select disk, will appear only if a
SCSI hard disk is connected—this requires the Marion Systems MPC-
SCSI upgrade.)
The light above the DISK key
The light above the DISK key has the same function as the light on the
disk drive— to indicate that the disk drive is in use. In version 2 software,
this light was used as a warning to indicate that some data in memory
had been edited and therefore needed to be saved. Unfortunately, this
feature had to be removed in order to make room in the ROM memory
for all of version 3’s new features.
